15 Jun 2023 Cathy Thompson, Chapter President Music4Life Jun 15, 2023 12:00 PM We will be at Azteca in Burien, 153 SW 157th, Burien, WA 98166 Music4Life™ provides donated and repaired musical instruments at no charge to public school districts for use by students in need. Music4Life does this because research shows that children who participate in instrumental music activities do better in numerous academic areas and because they believe that instrumental music can and does save lives. It is a gift that Music4Life feel passionately about passing on to future generations.
17 Jun 2023 Strawberry Festival the whole Weekend Jun 17, 2023 10:00 AM This long-standing event is always a family favorite. It includes a petting zoo on Saturday, the car show on Sunday, live music all weekend, kids’ area and vendor booths. Located in the Burien Town Square Park, 480 Southwest 152nd Street, Burien, WA, 98166 The Festival will run from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on both Saturday, 6/17/23 and Sunday, Fathers Day, 6/18/23. We will have a vendor booth and are in need of Volunteers to staff the booth. Please let Dave Hawthorne know if you will be able to give an hour or two to meet and greet our community and show off the things our club is doing. We will be celebrating all our accomplishments in the 2022-2023 year and kicking off the upcoming year. Partners and family members are encouraged to attend.
